Here's a compilation of some of the high points of the last three weeks of cycling adventures. Waited too long to get this all up here so I'm going minimal on the descriptions of the rides and letting the photos tell the stories. (

First, I got around to migrating the winter service course back out of the basement and into the garage.
In preparation for the upcoming road/CX combo rides I was planning to do, I got in a decent training ride that included a run down this railway line from Wayland to Weston.
Next up, a 40 mile loop, the Ride Studio Café: Diverged ride, which took us on many roads and trails in Lexington, Belmont, Arlington, and Wincester. We got lost A LOT but had a ton of fun.
The following weekend was a much bigger test: Ronde de Rosey: over 60 miles of mostly trail riding with Team ENGVT through Brookline, Watertown, Belmont, Waltham, Weston, Wayland, Wellesley, Needham and back. When we weren't navigating the amazing number of hidden trails, or doing remarkable field repairs on broken bikes, we were REALLY DRILLING it on the road. I'm surprised I didn't crack!
This past weekend found me doing a smaller ride on Saturday, a sort of "getting to know you" easy 30 miler with my club mates and new members of the Minuteman Road Club.
Sunday brought my longest ride so far this year (107 miles): the Cafe 2 Cafe ride which ran from Lexington to Manchester-by-the-Sea AND BACK.
This ride was preceded by a tempo+ effort from home to the start and followed by a ride to a memorial service for fellow cyclist Karl Fisher, teacher at the Cambridge School of Weston, who had passed away earlier this spring. I then pedaled back home.
Finally, yesterday I took a very easy recovery ride into the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge.
